NDP 08!
Friday got humanities club and the silly thing is got to do the stupid notice board again. I got to stop this or else my members wont even want to come for meeting. To say the truth, Humanities club is totally not fun now. I was not given the power to do want i want in the club like i used to have when Mrs Koh was around. It was fun when Mrs Koh was around because she will lets us play what we want and make our friday a worthwhile day and wrap the whole week up with fun and laughter. One thing why i always go humanities club when Mrs Koh and Mrs Goh was in charge in the club is that i never fail to laugh and enjoy. But now its different :(
After humanities club i decided to head to hougang point but when i was walking pass the parade square i saw that there is UGs training for NDP parade. Thinking that finally i wont need to stand in the sun for so long and go for so many trainings, get scolded and all, i feel so relief. And that after serving for 4 years in NCC the tough times has finally ended. But when i walk pass the parade square, Aliff shouted, "GOOD AFTERNOON SGT MAJOR!" So i replied, "GOOD AFTERNOON SIR!".
Hahas so i went there to take a look. Other UGs were marching and i dont see a lot of NCC cadets at the bench and all. So i assumed that they're having waterbreak. But when i sat down and i tell them to fall in, i realize that i have only less than 9 people.
Totally crap! So i was thinking maybe other uniform groups also kinda the same strength as NCC. So i decided to go to guides to count their strength. They got at least 35 people in the platoon! I was dam pissed off with my cadets and really disappointed with them.
I kept asking, why has NCC became like that. Bronze unit. Then here comes Mr chin telling everyone to fall in to do run through. Then lots of my people was told to get an appointment like flag and all. Left 7 in that stupid platoon. Cant even form the outer shape so no choice we quickly call for back up. In the end can only form the first row, Freaking pathetic.
Then they say the RSM of parade, or i should say the CC for colours should be NCC but we got not enough people so guides took over. Then eugene and aliff ask me whether there's anyone i can think of to take the RSM post. I said not sure. Then Aliff suddenly tell me to take. I was thinking why me! But no choice because no one suits the position so they called Mdm to ask whether i am allowed to join the parade as my mdm didnt allow anyone taking O levels to join but no choice what so i was told to take over. So well i took over. Must stand under the hot sun again!
I'm really disappointed with NCC. Cant go for saturday training for NDP. Hope eugene's plan go well thats all. See you guys on NDP!
